Are electrically assisted bikes not covered by a Federal Law that defines such transport as a bicycle in Me.? - bicycle light generator
Please advise against the risk of a ticket:
Another question:
Electric assisted bicycle is still regarded as such by the law when pulling a trailer with a gas-generator engine with 2.5 hp engine to recharge the batteries for motorcycle engines again?
I think this is the case.
It is connected to a prior determination of the definition of the trailer gas law used to extend the range of electric cars. You do not need a special license or be registered as a separate decision. Therefore, following the announced intention of the case and that the States which is electrically assisted bicycles, because it is not a significant risk that in the present is "normal cycle", they do not need additional license for the operation of up to 100 lb.s trailer with a generator and 55 pounds. There is no additional risk of a shopping bag w-games-trailer and Coleman fuel, hot glue light bulbs instead of a generator waste heat could ignite as a potential source of both inflammatory .... But both save gas.

A small trailer with a power source would be exempt from laws of conveyance within the "amount of consumption" clause. But what you really want to see a trailler do 100 pound bike? It can be difficult to stop in a hurry. Why not a hybrid scooter?
