Tomato Cheddar Soup Need Help With Tortilla Soup!?

Need help with tortilla soup!? - tomato cheddar soup

I have a recipe for tortilla soup, which calls for a can of tomato sauce, 3 cans Rotel can of chili, cup salsa, diced chicken and a can of black beans. I was not sure what Rotel, I thought it was soup mix cheese, a tortilla soup that I made Max and Erma had a base of cheese. I could not find Rotel to the grocery store, so I bought Campbell's soup instead of cheddar cheese. A look at other recipes for tortilla soup, the more out of the corn soup with tomato or chicken. Can I still use cheddar cheese soup (especially as there are in the neighborhood of $ 2.00 per can!)? She will be with the other ingredients? How much water should I add? I bought 2 boxes instead of 3 for 3 is very similar, when I add the water.
